The SECURE Network's Open Enrollment option accommodates everyone's needs. As the digital revolution leads to remarkable changes in how content is accessed, consumed, discussed and shared, the SECURE Network allows for 24x7 availability and learning from the comfort of your home, office, while deployed or during travel periods.
Here are a few other key benefits to our Open Enrollment:
Attend lectures whenever and wherever you want with ease.
Unlike classroom teaching, SECURE Network students have unlimited access to
the content. This is especially beneficial when a situation occurs somewhere in
the world and a training module offered by SECURE Network can help remind you of
proper actions to prevent, mitigate, respond or recover from a similar
incident. In a traditional learning format, when you cannot attend a lecture,
you have to prepare for that topic on your own.
Get continuous access to updated content.
A prime benefit of the SECURE Network is that it makes sure users are
in synchronization with modern learners. This enables the learner to access
updated content whenever they want it.
Ensure quick delivery of courses.
The SECURE Network is a way to provide quick
delivery of courses, modules and lesson plans. As compared to traditional
classroom teaching methods, this mode has quick delivery cycles. The SECURE Network helps to reduce the time
required to learn compared to traditional in-person learning. Here are just a
few examples why SECURE Network reduces learning time:
- Travel time (e.g., parking, walking, return travel, etc.)
- Lessons start quickly, stop at anytime and pick right back up where you left off
- Students can define their own speed of learning instead of following the speed of an entire group
- Students can choose to study specific and relevant areas of the learning material without focusing on all areas. For example, in the open enrollment courses, students can skip certain areas they do not feel they need now, and focus on topics of importance.
Enhance scalability.
The SECURE Network helps to create and communicate
new training, policies, concepts, and ideas. Whether it is for formal education,
self-growth, or professional development, SECURE Network is a quick way of
learning for industry leaders and experts!
Reduce your costs.
The SECURE Network is cost-effective compared to
traditional forms of learning. A lot of training time is reduced with
respect to trainer availability, travel, course materials and accommodation. However,
when studying at your own place, you are relieved from paying for travel
expenses (e.g., accommodations) when training takes place in another location.

Platform
Q: How long does the registration process take?
A: For individual registrations, from the SECURE Network landing page, users are required to create a basic user profile with information such as username and unique password. Once the user profile is established, users can select the course(s) they want to purchase and purchase the course via a secure payment gateway after entering the required credit card and billing information.
For company, department, or agency bulk user license registrations, the organization’s representative must contact ARMADA using the SECURE Network request for information application. Usually within one business day an ARMADA representative will contact the organization’s representative to discuss specific requests and related costs. A subsequent agreement will be established between ARMADA and the organization outlining the products, services, terms and conditions, and costs.
Q: Does my registration allow me to take more than one course?
A: For individual registrations, once a registration is made, users can purchase as many courses as they wish. Once the purchase is made, all purchased courses will be listed under “My Courses” within the user portal.
For organizational license registrations, the agreement established between ARMADA and the organization will outline the products, services, terms and conditions as well as costs available to the users. Courses can be added to the bulk purchase by way of service agreement modifications.
Courses
Q: Are the courses going to be recorded, computer-based or live-streamed?
A: The majority of the courses are high-definition videos posted on ARMADA’s SECURE Network. However, ARMADA will also be offering live stream, interactive training courses.

Q: How much does it cost to take a course?
A:
Each course is individually priced. Pricing is consistent with current industry standards.
Q: Will completion of courses help me earn continuing education training credits or organizational in-service credits?
A:
ARMADA assesses each course to determine whether it is appropriate to consider submitting for CLE,
CE, or other in-service credits. If applicable, training credits are assigned at the course level.
If a purchase is made by an individual and the individual wishes to earn organizational level training
credits, the user must download the certificate of completion and course overview and submit the
materials to their organization for consideration. Acceptance of the courses toward training credits is
determined by the organization, not by ARMADA.
If a purchase of a course is made by an organization, and if the organization selects the training
record features available within the online learning platform, ARMADA is able to activate functions
requiring student check for understanding. Upon completion of the course and all check for
understanding requirements, students will receive the certificate of completion as well as the
in-service credits designated by the organization.
Q: Can I register as an individual or does my organization have to register for me?
A:
Both. A user may have a registration through an organization using his/her organization’s user profile
(usually linked to the user’s organizational email address). However, users can also have a personal
account and purchase courses individually using a personal email account. Each account will operate
individually. Users will be required to log out of one account and log into the second account for
security purposes.
Q: How long does it take to complete a course?
A:
Each course is individually developed. Course lengths are included in the course descriptions.
Q: Do I have to take courses in a particular order?
A:
No. Once open enrollment courses are purchased, users can complete courses in any order.
Q: Can I take multiple courses at the same time?
A:
Yes. Once a course is purchased users will see the course listed in “My Courses”. Users can begin a
course, then start another course if they desire. Users can always go back to any course and continue
completing the course.
Q: How are courses structured?
A:
Courses are made up of modules (themes), and modules are made up of lesson plans (specific topics).
The number of modules and lesson plans vary within each course. A key goal for ARMADA was to
develop short, concise, yet comprehensive lesson plans that can be completed quickly (3-10 minutes).
Q: Can I skip around within a course or do I have to complete the course in a predetermined order?
A:
If a purchase is made by an individual in an “open” format, this means users can view the course,
modules or specific lesson plans in any order. However, to receive the certificate of completion, all
modules and lesson plans must be viewed . In addition, as an individual (open format) purchase,
users will have all media controls displayed such as (play, pause, fast forward, reviewing, etc.).
If a purchase is made by an organization, the agreement will outline the features and capabilities the
organization would like users to be able to control. The organization may elect to have a very open
format similar to individual purchases (outlined in 10(a) above), or the organization may elect to
control the training platform. The organization may require users to complete the course in the
predetermined order, and only have access to media controls such as play, pause and 15 sec rewind
capabilities. The organization can also require module or lesson plan level check for understanding
questions to be embedded into the training. The organization can require the completion of all
modules, lesson plans, check for understanding questions prior to the student receiving the
certificate of completion.
Q: Do I get a certificate of completion for each course?
A:
Typically, yes, most courses will generate a certificate of completion.
If a purchase is made by an individual to receive the certificate of completion, all modules and lesson
plans must be viewed , but the order of the modules and lesson plans is not strictly controlled.
If a purchase is made by an organization, the agreement will outline the features and capabilities. The
organization can require the completion of all modules, lesson plans, check for understanding
questions prior to the student receiving the certificate of completion.
